Applications:
Pigment red 8 ( Fast Red F4R ) is a bright color with strong color strength. The application is for textile printings, water based inks and water based decorative paint.
This pigment is mainly used for coloring inks, paints, cultural and educational supplies, and cosmetics. There are 20 types of formulation grades of this pigment, which gives a pure blue light red color with high coloring strength and bright color light. Mainly used for coloring ink, transparent formulations may experience recrystallization in packaging ink, affecting color power and transparency, but are sensitive to gloss coating and sterilization treatment, with a heat resistance of 140 ℃/30min; It can also be used for printing fabrics with low requirements for light fastness.
Physical and chemical properties:
Solubility: It appears yellow and bright red in concentrated sulfuric acid, and turns bright red when diluted; When encountering concentrated nitric acid, it turns blue red; No change occurs in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution.
